The theatre was really small (albeit not as small as the theatre we saw “Saturday Night” in, post on that coming soon, I promise!) and you had to walk across the stage to get to the 8 rows of seating. I sat in “E” which was the 5th back from the stage. The seats however aren’t like individual theatre seats. They are benches (thankfully padded ones!), with the seat/row numbers stapled to the back of the bench. The set was really well done and the casting was absolutely fabulous.
The bench seats...you can see how close we were to the stage and how small the theatre was!

So anyway the play was fabulous and I had my first celebrity sighting. Vanessa Redgrave sat right in front of me! She is set to play one of the characters in the musical when it goes to Broadway in NY and it seemed she was scouting out the role and seeing how another actress played it. It was really cool, nonetheless. We didn’t get out of the show until almost 11PM and Karen hadn’t eaten dinner and I had only had part of a salad so we decided to go to this kebab place Anitra and I saw on the way to the theatre. So we got there and discovered that the place was called “Hot Munchies.” Definitely worth a photo op we felt.
Fabulous place!
So we went in and Karen and I got THE BEST fried chicken! It was awesome, and cheap! Two rather large pieces of fried chicken, a whole slew of fries and a bottle of water for £3! To make it even greater, it all came in this really cute box!Since we arrived in London we have all been pretty mesmerized by the weather. It hasn’t rained a lot and it has been sunny quite a bit of the time. Well last night the weather was EXACTLY what I had been waiting for all along. It was raining and VERY blustery. On the way to the theatre it wasn’t so bad, just drizzling a bit, no big deal. On the way home, however, it was POURING and I was SOAKED. However, since we STILL had no hot water to shower until God only knows when, I decided not to pull out my umbrella. After all, I really could use a shower….in whatever form it came in at this point. And besides, as sad as this statement is, the water coming out of the sky was warmer than the water coming out of the faucets in Reid Hall!

I guess it doesn’t REALLY matter that we can't shower anyway since we can’t really do wash because the dryers aren’t working either and we are out of clean clothes…boy, it has been a GREAT week to be a Regent’s student! =)
